Oh, how I was looking forward to seeing Michelle + Matt again all year!!! Spending their day with them flew by faster than almost any wedding I’ve photographed. They gush warm, welcoming happiness that you can truly tell comes from being together. Between the Pfister, 1451 Renaissance Place + Lake Michigan, we dodged sprinkles but the weather created a private beach amidst the city and moody skies. Oh, and the perfect breeze for a long flowing veil! Icing on the cake = a hilarious wedding party filled with sisters and childhood friends. Michelle + Matt…you guys know that I don’t even know what to SAY anymore, I heart you, your friends and your families so much!!!!! **…And I have to add that they first enticed me with cupcakes last fall, then I arrive at the Pfister spa and before we’re even done hugging, Michelle says “I have a gift for you!” ?!? Yes, we share a mutual love of J.Crew and all of its preppy glory! So, thank you again Michelle for your never-ending kindness…and the gorgeous necklace! I hope you and Matt had safe travels home from the Maldives after Hurricane Irene ‘blessed’ you with an extended stay! xoxoxo
