My friend Gretchen asked me to photograph her son Henry in my style for his senior photos. After breaking out in a cold sweat, triple-making sure she wanted my lifestyle photography vs. senior-senior photos, and me making sure I would be able to capture the true essence of Henry…a teenage GUY (!)…we had such a fun shoot! Cold-water surfers rode the Lake Michigan waves the entire time we hung out and just played around on the beach, and I love what we came away with. Gretchen, thank you for trusting me and my eye, and for letting me pause this moment in Henry’s life! Henry, enjoy your last year of high school and all of the exciting firsts and lasts that go along with it. (And thank you for being fun, and cool, and for letting my kids run circles around you!) :)
