“When Mackinnon Webster, a Wisconsin girl transplanted to New York City, went to a famous Green Bay Packers bar in Manhattan called Kettle of Fish, she just planned to take in a Sunday afternoon game. A thousand miles from the Dairy State, she had no idea that she would meet the cheesehead she was destined to marry. There was Eric Engen, the laid-back man of her dreams, and a couple years later they exchanged vows on the Capitol Square and then paraded—with the help of the UW-Madison marching band and a bagpipe player—to their chic wedding reception at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. For this couple, a fusion of their hometowns, old and new, was of utmost importance, so their wedding became a mash-up of NYC and Madison, with a focus on showing their out-of-town guests just how Midwesterners roll. And on that perfect day in May, Mackinnon got her wish to gather flowers for the wedding from the Dane County Farmers’ Market to showcase the bounty of the land that she and her new husband will always call home.”

A mash-up of NYC and Madison, and showing how Midwesterners roll, YES!!! Thank you for everything, Mackinnon + Eric, and Wisconsin Bride! xoxo!
