Ryan grew up making memories with his family, vacationing in Door County at his parents’ cabin near the Washington Island ferry. To say the cabin’s setting is picturesque might be the understatement of the year! Falling in love in their town of Chicago, Laura + Ryan chose to celebrate their day where so many special moments happened + are still being created to this day. The happiness from all of the family members at their wedding was truly everywhere…so many smiles, happy parents, happy babies, only one asleep flower girl who missed the ceremony, many hugs and laughs shared, and even a stolen barbie skirt was returned by a best friend during her speech! Amidst it all, the biggest smiles were on the bride and groom. They welcomed me right in, and what a beautiful September day they were given to celebrate the beginning of their lives together.
Everything Shannon and Laura dreamed up complemented Laura + Ryan and the farm so well! From the signature Door County pies, to the tiny local soaps from the creamery, to the bottles Laura collected for the tables, and all of the other details I’m failing to mention, it was an enchanting setting within the perfect farm known as Garden Gables. (Look for the farm’s gracious owner Kayla’s gorgeous horses to make an appearance below!) What a day!! Laura + Ryan, you guys are so much fun, and love seeing how happy you two are together!
