Lindsay + Jake began their marriage on an extra-celebratory night at their Wisconsin winter wedding in Lake Geneva…on New Year’s Eve!

You don’t have to twist my arm to get me to visit Lake Geneva, so when Lindsay initially found me last year and said they were celebrating their wedding there on New Year’s, I was in. They even visited me from Chicago in Stevens Point for their engagement session in the woods last summer (as seen on Style Me Pretty), and I fell in love with them and their fun, positive attitudes! (This helped us in cheering everyone on during very chilly photo time outside on their wedding day!) From best man speeches about Jake working as a life insurance agent at the tender age of 16, to giggling away about my Wisconsin accent with the bridesmaids, Lindsay and Jake’s day was full of a lot of laughing (and a sparkler exit for the books!). And then I saw their honeymoon pictures from across the globe, where they rode elephants, snuggled a baby elephant, and pretty much lived the dream of a lifetime…aaaaaand my heart melted. I just love these two!
