Wow…things have been busy in my home lately! My babies just had their last day of 4K (what!?), Lindsay + Jake are traveling from Chicago to have me photograph their engagement in the gorgeous tall pines of Stevens Point this weekend (YES!!!), and now, you can currently read all about Renee + Pete‘s historic Downtown Milwaukee wedding featured on Wisconsin Bride Magazine’s BLOG:

I’ve been catching up with so many of my brides lately…future, past and present, and scheduling engagement sessions during this awesome weather we’ve been having so far this summer. I love it!!! You can feel the excitement in every email/text/phone call, and it’s contagious. It’s an energizing time of the year!
I can’t believe how long I’ve been creating images for couples and telling their stories. This is my eighth season of running Carly McCray Photography full-time, and it’s honestly crazy to me how quickly the years have flown by. It’s also incredible how each wedding is a unique experience, time and time again, year after year. That fuels my creativity like nothing else can!
Whether you’ll be attending a wedding this summer, standing up for your friends, or simply enjoying a wedding I’m sharing, I hope you enjoy these special moments that happen in a heartbeat and are gone before you know it. (Like so much in life!)
